These Coconuts are harvested at their peak sweetness, at around about 7-8 months. Inside, the water is sweet and refreshing, with a slightly nutty flavor. Young coconut meat is soft and has a more mild coconut flavor.
First, use a coconut key to drain out the water, then crack with a hammer. Use a soft coconut meat scoop to remove the tender coconut meat.
