Coconut Key

A Coconut key is specifically designed to drain the water from a coconut.

On the side of a husked coconut you’ll see 3 dots. Push this coconut key into the largest dot and twist while applying light pressure. The coconut key effortlessly bores a hole into the coconut, allowing the water to drain out.

After the coconut water is drained out, the coconut is ready to be cracked open. Use a hammer or throw it at the sidewalk to crack it open. Use a soft coconut meat scoop or firm coconut meat scoop to remove the coconut meat from the shell.

This tool has sharp edge. Use safety glasses while opening coconuts.
